Cloudchaser Shaconage's Den
This page is to display the furry convention photos that I've taken. I'm not usually a photographer. I don't even consider it a hobby or interest and it's not very often that I photograph something. But when I to, I try to do a good job of it.
Please also see
where you can see literally thousands of
furry con photos, including the photos seen here, which Slyfox
was kind enough to include in his very large archive :-)
All photos are copyright Cloudchaser Shaconage (myself). If you want to use any of them in any way, please e-mail me and ask me first :-) Thanx!
ANTHROCON 2004
The usual long line for those registering at the door.
The usual crowd in The Zoo, a room reserved for a
general purpose hangout that also included the internet room this
year.
Unknown pink wolf and bear suits.
The crowd waiting for the first opening of the dealer's
room. I went nuts and within a few hours, bought about $100 worth
of plush, including my first red panda, border collie and corgi.
The dealer's room was much larger than in previous
years, also including Artist's Alley (wonders why the auto focus
didn't work)
Growltiger, who is also the founder of Memphit Furmeet.
Wally Wolf, organizer of fursuit masquerage act I was in
with him and Camstone Fox.
Unknown spotted blue...Uh, something.
Huskey suit. I can't resist huskies :-)
Dance Dance Revilution. DDR is a popular game that
challenges one's speed and reflexes. the player steps on a pad
trying to match the arrows on the screen.
Unknown dolphin, huskey, jaguar and fox.
Unknown sheltie, a.k.a. miniature collie. I can't resist
them too :-)
Unknown blue spotted something and two of a few pups
that were at AC with their parents.
Fursuiters and kids go together like peanut butter and
chocolate :-).
Very well done samurai fursuit.
Very well done mech wolf suit.
Hiromi Kitsune, a suit that has the best eyes I've seen
in any female suit.
The view from my room (blame the blurriness on taking it
through the dirty glass).
Unicorn And Gryphon room party, a Yahoo Groups list for
Christian furs. That's the founder, Heavy Horse, a real life
Bretheren of Christ minister, drinking from a bottle of ginger
beer. No beverages were alcoholic. As you can see, the room was
crowded, but everyone still had a great time :-)
One longtime U&G member, a very nice lady, is
legally blind. This is her equally sweet guide dog, Ida, who kept
staring all perky eared at people eating chili :-).
Tyger Moon's seizure warning dog, an American Eskimo
a.k.a. Miniature Spitz. I have for some time wanted an eskie of
my own :-)
Ronin Otter at the Fursuit Masquerade rehersal.
Zig Zag at the Fursuit Masquerade rehersal.
Unknown tiger at the Fursuit Masquerade rehersal.
Big Bad Bear and Sharky at the Fursuit Masquerade

Masquerade rehersal.
Unknown bear suit at the Fursuit Masquerade rehersal.
Runtt at the Fursuit Masquerade rehersal.
The Olympic "flame" that stayed
"lit" the whole weekend. For obvious reasons, it was
actually a flame machine that uses a fan, piece of cloth and
colored lights to simulate a flame.
Fifi and unknown fox suit at the Fursuit Masquerade
rehersal.
Unicorn fursuit, Lynne a.k.a. Squirrlycat site1 site2.

Unknown fox taking a picture of me taking a picture of
him.
Neat wolf suit in a Native American theme.
Was on my way to breakfast at Denny's, thought these
looked neat.
Closing ceremonies. The flowers were given to Susan
Parkin a.k.a. Susan Deer who had been programming director for
several years and was leaving to allow more time for her
cartooning carrear.
The just extinguished "flame."
Unknown wolf who didn't let his being in a wheelchair
dampen his spirit :-) I like people like that :-).
Unknown werewolf pirate fursuiter taking advantage of a
cooling fan in the Headless lounge, a place for fursuiters to
cool off.
Unknown black & white wolf suit.
Moneypenny, ZigZag and Roxikat.
Fursuiters on the stage at the end of the masquerade.
The crowd of hundreds who came to see the masquerade.
Tseatah, the mascot for critter.net
Some fursuiters at the Masquerade Rehersal.
Unknown sheltie and what is it suits.
Fursuiters gathering for the fursuit parade, a popular
event that had 146 participants this year.
Most of the participants just after the parade.
Some of the furs taking pictures of us.
Fursuit games, games for fursuiters such as seeing how
far one can stand back from a wall, bounce a ball off the wall
and catch the ball. Not as easy as it sounds with limited vision.
Cocker Spaniel and German Shepherd puppetts. After
taking the photo, the GS said "*sound of breathing out* I
can breathe again!" :-).
