8 DEC 2003. Taken at the Knoxville, Tenessee Zoo

Barn owls  Known for their cuteness and the uneartly, spooky screech they make.

Meerkats.  They were being so cute it was hard to not laugh

Half grown snow leopard kittens that were born at the zoo last summer.

Cape dog.  Wish I could have got a better photo, though.  They're beautiful.  The reason they nearly went extinct was because of being hunted for their fur.

Bobcat checkin' me out.  He'd apparently never seen a 5' 13" red wolf before (I was in suit)

       My favorite, the red wolf

Red Panda.  I think they look like a cross between a fox and a raccoon.

 Funny warning sign

24 MAR 2004. From now on, the date of each photo will be noted in the description and file name. Anyway, I came home from work on my 32nd whelpday to find that my Mother had decorated my room with balloons and ribbons :-) My cake was one of those Wal-Mart chocolate cheesecakes that has 3 slices of 4 varieties in one cake. Yummy!

26 MAR 2004. The two pillows and the fox are whelpday gifts. The fox is 16.5 inches tall, has a monocle and his lantern lights up

16 JUN 2004. Hydrania bushes. They bloom like this every year with a fragrant smell

16 JUN 2004. Named Cies, Spanish for six because he has two dewclaws, is it any wonder he's nicknamed "Plushkitty"? :-)

7 SEP 2004. That's the flattest I've ever seen that cat :-)

Plushkitty again :-)

My Olds with 241K miles spun a bearing, this is what replaced it :-)

My cat, Sabrina, 9.5 years at the time of this posting and 1 of 6 cats my family has. Having had her since she was 8 weeks, she adores me and does this regularly :-) iT's HARd to type wHILE holdINf a CaT

I actually won something for once in my life. A Daisy Rock guitar hand signed by Ann & Nancy Wilson, the sisters who founded/front the rock band Heart

Should I or shouldn't I? :-)

I like to have the blinds up on sunny days. Sabrina likes to get in the window. She seemed to fit in with the plush so well that I had to take a photo :-)

This is Nalda. So friendly that it can be said she's never met a stranger :-)

After years of thinking that glasses add to one's appearence, I went 'n' got a non-corrective set of my own :-)

Still healthy and 17 years old at the time of this photo, this is Sugar, my family's oldest cat :-) Not as outgoing as Nalda, but just as friendly and sweet :-)

Found these four snapping turtle hatchlings while trimming the yard. Their shells are barely an inch long and they don't even try to bite like the adults do. They were released in a nearby river shortly after this photo was taken.

Nalda sleeping funny :-)

That cat gets any bigger, I'm gonna start calling her Jabba the Hutt :-)

Nalda blending in :-)

Sebastian doing the laundry :-)

Cies in one of his two most recent places to nap :-) He only does this when I'm in the room, when I leave, he comes looking for me :-)

The other place :-)

Less than 24 hours later, he decided to add a 3rd place :-)

Went to see Stryper when they stopped in Charlotte, NC on their Reborn tour and after the show, got the band to autograph my copy of their new CD :-)

Obtained at a Trans-Siberian Orchestra concert 13 days later :-)

Sabrina does this regularly :-)

From L-R, Tater, Sebastian and Cies being leg 'n' body warmers :-)

Costume prop for when I'm in suit :-)

Nalda looking like she has no head :-)

Every year, this feral goose assigns himself bodyguard of a wild mallard hen and her ducklings :-)

The newest additions to my family :-) Leia on the left and Like on the right.
